Also that Kingswood that Zoidberg linked is amazing.

Yeah, there are so many to choose from for the goodnight posts. This e500 is just amazing. I'd love one as a family hauler.

I really wish I had the stones — and money — to snag an E500 or E55 wagon . My favorite modern Benz by a country mile.

A beast. Those were very overbuilt cars, in a good way. Like in the comments, I also thought of “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World”.
BaT is loaded with goodness right now. Unfortunately, or maybe for the best, I am not loaded with extra money or storage space.
A few others I noticed :
Peak Accord:

Super rare color time capsule:

For some reason I really like these (and their metal roof siblings):

They’re putting back on the good stuff -- hopefully. The “premium” auction experiment I think has not been terribly successful. Lots of RNM lately. And the CGT that sold for nothing. This coupled with the Camry liftback with a damaged hatch, a Silhouette, endless M3s in any condition... Good to see interesting cars this week.

That’s cool. I didn’t look for some time, all rich guy stuff. I noticed the Silhouette the last time I looked too, one of the more interesting things there. I am all about the stuff in the under-50K realm, under 10K even better. Rare, not necessarily expensive. A preserved 91 Accord is more interesting to me than a restored 911, a 25 year old S600 more interesting than a 3 year old Maserati.

In my fantasy world I have garage space and time to work on cars all day long. E500, worn out. Strip it down, rebuild the trans and diffs, ls turbo swap, respray Ipanema brown, tan interior with hounds tooth fabric accents and seating surfaces. The trans on that car is used in the g55 etc. Can take a ton of torque. It'd be a riot.

I don’t want to piss people off, but half the cars on there are 1970-1980 somethings 911s, or 356ABCDBBQs, so borrrrrrrring.

I don’t care about pissing people off. Those are rich old man cars, darlings of the local late boomer/early Xer monied gearhead set here. Nice cars, but overplayed, and even if I could afford it, I wouldn’t.
If I had money and space, I’d be thinking about that S600. That was my one of my dream cars when I was 18 and it was new. Nice to look at that rather than a 2 year old GT.
